Thank you for your interest in volunteering your time and talent for the Colorado Wyoming Nebraska Stock Horse Association. COWN is a non-profit organization and an affiliate of the Stock Horse of Texas. Our shows provide a forum for riders of all levels to learn and compete in a friendly environment which promotes the concept of the versatile stock horse.

Our volunteers are a critical part of each show, supporting our staff and exhibitors for an enjoyable, safe, and memorable event. We recognize that your time and talent are a gift and we’re grateful you’re investing those in us! A brief orientation will be provided for new volunteers prior to each shift so previous horse or show experience is not necessary.

Currently, we welcome assistance with managing our class gates, setting up/tearing down our trail and ranch riding courses, managing paid warm-ups and general office duties.

**CoWN members who volunteer for two full shifts on one show day will receive a one stall night voucher towards a future CoWN-managed show.

Show Volunteer Guidelines:
Be at least 18 years-of-age
Report to the show office 15 minutes prior to their assigned slot
Dress for the weather (closed-toed shoes only, no shorts)
